GOOD THINGS TO KNOW
All bookings at Seafire are exclusive. This means that when you book Seafire, you’ll always have exclusive use of the whole 150 acre property and full access throughout the house.
Our base full house rate using both king suites starts at $520 per night. A slightly higher rate applies on weekends and during holiday periods. You can check our rates here and our availability here.
Only 2 guests?
We also offer a lower rate if there are only two guests. You’ll still have exclusive use of the whole property and full access throughout the house (we don’t like locked doors either) but you won’t have to pay the full house rate. Our 1 King Suite Option starts at $470 per night. A slightly higher rate applies on weekends and during holiday periods. You can check our rates here and our availability here.
When you’re ready to book, all we need to confirm your booking is a $500 deposit, then you are very welcome to pay the balance at any time that’s convenient for you up until 8 weeks before your arrival date. We accept phone and online payments by Visa and MasterCard, EFT, cheque or money order. You are also welcome to pay cash – just give us a call anytime on 0417 829 010.
Number of guests
Seafire Beach House sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms (see our floorplan). Each king bed can split into two singles as required.
We have a minimum stay of 4 nights to help us amortise the high cost of cleaning in such a remote spot, but we will also accept 3 night bookings with the addition of a ‘short stay’ surcharge (appx $50 per night) to help us offset the cleaning cost.
At Seafire there are no hidden costs. Our nightly rates include hotel-style bedroom and bathroom linen (sheets, quilts, bath sheets, hand towels, face washers, bathmats) and tea towels. There are no additional cleaning, booking or linen hire fees. Complimentary NBN satellite internet access is also included.
A $500 security bond is payable as a credit card authorisation (like a hotel) to cover incidentals and property damage or loss. This is not an actual charge on your card and it will expire automatically on departure.
For a small accommodation business like ours, a cancellation can result in an empty house. Therefore we cannot offer a refund if you cancel your booking. Instead we will do our best to re-sell your cancelled dates at the same rate you originally paid. If successful, we will transfer any payment you have made, less a $100 admin fee, to a new booking which must be completed within 12 months of your original departure date. Please note that if you cancel your booking close to your arrival date, we may have to reduce the re-sale price of your cancelled dates and this will in turn reduce the balance we can transfer to your new booking. So the earlier you let us know the better! Minor date adjustments (eg. adding a day or moving your dates along by a day or two) are usually possible subject to availability, but changing all your dates will be treated as a cancellation. No refund can be given for non-arrival, unused services or unused nights. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of holiday bookings.
Seafire is strictly a smoke-free environment inside the house, on the decks and and within the courtyard.
Seafire is not suitable for pets because it’s too fragile for bouncy dogs, and also because of its proximity to resident wildlife including kangaroos and fur seals.
